It was this
terrible week that worry started taking me over. I was almost at the verge of
giving up. To most out there, that’s certainly not the right spot to be. But
God graciously, those moments does click for me. The moment when striving cease
and I stop leaning on my own ways and understanding. The point where I give
up and release it into His hands, God takes over the whole mess that I am.
It reminds me of (John 2:3), when the wedding wine case was handed over to
Jesus.
Though the hardest part may seem
to be patient, to watch Him work out the mess for us in His own time; Just as
Jesus said to Mary in (John 2:4), WAIT.
As we remain
silent in full obedience to his words watching him unfold the mess, we will be
overwhelmed with the fruit of what we released into His care. As the servants
at the wedding were submitted and obedient to His orders (John 2: 5,7), they
were able to witness the grace with how Jesus unfolded their situation (John
2:9p). Waiting upon the Lord does seem to be difficult but it would be a
loss to fail to see what He is doing about your mess while we sit and fret; an
utter failure to miss out the warmth of being in His care and the joy of
resting in Him.
Oh!! What a loss
for that master of the banquet to miss out on my Master’s miracle. Father,
teach me to wait upon you; to never let slip any of your wondrous works in my
life and to know the depth that’s beyond getting what we ask for.
In due time, we
shall hear our treasured dreams whisper “You Have Saved the Best Till Now.”
(John 2:10).
They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had
been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the
servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first
and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you
have saved the best till now.”
Psst…guess
what...The wedding at Cana is the first miracle of Jesus (John 2:11)…Yes…tHE bEST iS yET tO cOME….
